Confluence is pleased to welcome Lukas Fereiss for a special lecture.
With a graduate background in philosophy and cultural studies Lukas Feireiss runs the Berlin-based interdisciplinary creative practice Studio Lukas Feireiss, that focuses on the discussion and mediation of architecture, art and visual culture in the urban realm. In his artistic, curatorial, editorial and consultive work he aims at the critical cut-up and playful re-evaluation of creative and spatial production modes and their diverse socio-cultural and medial conditions. Lukas Feireiss is author and editor of numerous books, and curator of manifold exhibitions. He has lectured and taught at various universities worldwide including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, ETH Swiss Institute of Technology, University of Arts Berlin, University of Applied Arts Vienna, University of Arts Linz, and is currently visiting-professor at the DesignLab at Rietveld Academy Amsterdam.
