Living in the Derelict
We will explore how different aspects of development in the future will impact domestic living (aging, food, work, technologies, etc. ) and what their response would be in conceiving and organizing a living environment.
We will evaluate the potential of abandoned ‘waste sites’ for their reuse for living in the near future.
We will test new concepts of future living on the derelict site of an abandoned boiler plant of the Les Halles Girard at Confluence.
Living in the future becomes “Living in the Derelict” and aims to challenge us as designers and architects by recycling and reusing urban spaces.
